About a girl & a doodle

hello friends! welcome to a girl & a doodle. i'm the girl, angela. juniper breeze is the doodle. we live in dallas, texas and i work as a graphic designer and writer. jb does not contribute financially to our household or to society in any way.

following dogs on instagram is one of my favorite pastimes. i drink too much iced coffee and use too much dry shampoo. i fall asleep watching friends every night and have since high school. i aspire to be leslie knope but i'm not even a liz lemon. i love taylor swift and will forever cry along every time i listen to all too well. i listen to podcasts for most of my waking hours, because i like to pretend the hosts are my friends and we're just chit-chatting about life and pop culture and murder all day. i suffer from anxiety, and this blog is a way for me to keep my hands and my mind busy, hopefully pushing the anxiety away while i work on it.

creative projects, whether its cooking, baking, graphic design, doodling, lettering, home decor, or anything else, are a perfect outlet for me, and i will be sharing lots of projects here. i'm also navigating my thirties and first-time-grown-up dog ownership, so i'll be sharing some of those journeys as well.
